See it before you buy: our Deira showroom
Most PPE in Dubai is bought off a PDF catalogue and a price list. That works until 200 pairs of safety shoes arrive half a size small, or the coveralls turn out thinner than the sample. Our brand showroom is in Deira, at Baniyas Square Metro Station, Exit 1, behind Mount Royal Hotel. Walk in, try the shoes on, compare a 210 GSM cotton coverall with a 270 GSM one, and check the zips and reflective tape before you raise a purchase order.
Walk-in buying is fine for small quantities too. A foreman who needs ten pairs of gloves today, a contractor kitting out three new workers, an office manager who needs a first box of ear plugs: the showroom serves all of them. For larger lists, the showroom team can start the quote with you while you are there.
What Dubai sites usually order
Dubai buyers tend to fall into three groups: construction and fit-out, warehousing and logistics, and workshops and light industry. The basic kit overlaps, but the details change.
- Construction and fit-out: S1P or S3 safety shoes, EN 397 safety helmets in the colours your site uses for each trade, mesh vests for summer and cotton pant shirts. The Border Supreme Work Suit BSS 0900 is 100% cotton at 210-220 GSM and comes in eight colours, so trades can be colour coded.
- Warehousing and logistics: lighter S1P shoes such as the Border BFP 2065 (composite toe cap, Kevlar midsole, EN ISO 20345:2022), PU or nitrile coated safety gloves for carton handling, and fabric safety vests with pockets, like the BSVF 2000.
- Workshops and fabrication: FR work suits, welding gloves, safety glasses and goggles to EN 166, and fibreglass fire blanket rolls to cover benches and floors during hot work.

Read the label before you sign off
Ask for the standard, not only the product name. Three that come up on almost every Dubai site:
- EN ISO 20345, S1P or S3: both have a 200 joule toe cap and a puncture resistant midsole. S3 adds a water resistant upper and a cleated outsole, which helps on wet slabs and in excavations. S1P is lighter and suits dry warehouses. Our safety shoes guide for the UAE covers the choice in more detail.
- EN 388:2016 on gloves: the four digits are abrasion, cut (coupe test), tear and puncture. A letter after them is the ISO cut level, A to F. The BHG 119 leather glove is rated 4233, for example.
- EN 397 on helmets: the BSH 1240 is HDPE with ratchet suspension and weighs 360 g. Check the colour code against your site rules, and see our hard hat colour guide if you are setting one up.
Each product page has a downloadable datasheet you can attach to a material submittal or a consultant's approval request.
Bulk orders, uniforms and company logos
Contractors, facility management companies and traders who order every month can open a corporate account with volume pricing. Coveralls, work suits and vests can be supplied with your company logo. Send the quantity per size and colour and where the logo goes (chest, back or sleeve), and we will price it.
If your sites run beyond Dubai, see our pages for Sharjah and Ajman and Abu Dhabi. We also ship to Oman and the rest of the GCC.
