Product Manager
Job Description
As a Product Manager – PPE, you will be responsible for managing and growing Border Safety Wears' PPE product portfolio across the UAE and GCC markets. This role involves end-to-end product ownership—from market research and supplier coordination to product positioning, pricing, product launches, and lifecycle management. You will work closely with Sales, Procurement, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure a competitive, compliant, and profitable product range.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete Head-to-Toe PPE product portfolio
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and trend monitoring
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new products and suppliers
- Define product positioning, pricing strategy, and margin targets
- Coordinate product launches, catalogs, and training with Sales & Marketing
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and certifications
- Maintain product data including specifications, SKUs, MOQ, and lead times
- Support Sales with product training, demos, and technical guidance
- Monitor product performance and prepare monthly/quarterly reports
- Gather customer feedback and drive continuous product improvement
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in PPE / Safety products
- Strong knowledge of industrial PPE categories (Safety Shoes, Workwear, Gloves, Helmets, etc.)
- Hands-on experience in product selection, pricing, and portfolio management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- UAE/GCC market experience is a strong advantage
